Our Research & Scientific Foundation

Our research roots began in Germany, where our team explored and validated advanced bioprocesses and green chemistry. These breakthroughs were then customized for the physiological and climatic conditions of Indian livestock, ensuring unmatched efficiency and adaptability.
Today, Ko Biotics is supported by a multidisciplinary team of veterinarians, animal nutritionists, biotechnologist, microbiologists, and agri-specialists all united by a single mission: sustainable animal performance through natural science.

From Technology to Transformation
The Ko Biotics Journey

When I first began my career in Europe, I believed innovation was defined by technology, numbers, and global projects. For more than a decade, I lived and worked across the United Kingdom and continental Europe, leading billion-dollar projects for Big 4 consulting firms and corporate conglomerates and shaping large-scale transformations worth over USD 10 billion.
But somewhere between boardrooms and airports, I began to feel something was missing impact that touched the roots of life itself. My heart had always belonged to agriculture, animals, and the people who feed the world.
In 2018, I returned to India to begin a new chapter Ko Biotics Pvt. Ltd. a bridge between advanced European biotechnology and the deep, ancient wisdom of Indian agriculture. Our journey began not as a company, but as a six-year research mission. We spent years testing, refining, and perfecting formulations that could truly transform the way livestock are nourished not just fed.
By 2024, Ko Biotics introduced a new generation of NutriBiotic solutions, a natural science-driven formulations designed to improve metabolism, gut health, reproduction, and immunity in livestock. But beyond science, this journey is about ‘HOPE’, empowering farmers, protecting animals, and creating a sustainable future for the planet.

About the Founder

Mrs. Krishitha Chandru is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Ko Biotics Pvt. Ltd. An alumnus of a leading University of United Kingdom, she spent over 10 years in Europe after her MBA in International Business, working with the world’s top consulting firms as a management consultant in leadership roles and steering multibillion-dollar transformation projects across technology, finance, and sustainability.
A technologist at heart and an entrepreneur by spirit, she founded several technology driven ventures before creating Ko Biotics in 2018, the culmination of her passion for agriculture, animal health, and biotechnology. Her multidisciplinary experience gives Ko Biotics its unique DNA, where data meets nature, and innovation meets empathy.
Under her leadership, Ko Biotics stands as a symbol of modern India’s capability to lead the global livestock revolution by empowering farmers, enriching animals, and nurturing a healthier planet.

Mr. K. Uthayarajan

(Head of Finance)

With over four decades of distinguished experience in engineering, infrastructure, and financial management, Mr. K. Uthayrajan brings an exceptional blend of technical precision and financial foresight to Ko Biotics. A veteran of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, he has devoted his career to building efficient systems and sustainable infrastructure that support growth and reliability at scale.

His extensive expertise spans power generation, transmission, and project execution, underpinned by a strong command of financial planning, capital optimization, and policy compliance. Beginning his career at the Pillur Dam Power Station (Kundah Circle) one of Tamil Nadu’s largest hydroelectric facilities, he later led major transmission and substation projects across Trichy, Salem, Villupuram, and Chennai.
At Ko Biotics, over his 40 years of experience he directs financial strategy, governance, and resource management, ensuring that every investment and process reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability, transparency, and value creation. His analytical approach, coupled with strategic financial insight, provides the foundation of stability, efficiency, and trust on which the organization continues to grow and innovate.

Mr. N. Sundaram

(Head of Operations & Production)

With over four decades of experience in agriculture, animal science, and biological systems, Mr. N. Sundaram brings a unique blend of scientific insight and operational mastery to Ko Biotics. A trained biologist and botanist, he has dedicated his career to
improving agricultural productivity and developing sustainable livestock practices across diverse environments.

His extensive expertise spans production management, formulation processes, and field optimisation, supported by a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, environmental compliance, and inter-departmental coordination. Over the years, he has successfully led large-scale agricultural and animal health projects in collaboration with government institutions and rural development bodies across India.
At Ko Biotics, he directs end-to-end production, logistics, and quality systems, ensuring that every stage from formulation to field performance reflects the company’s commitment to scientific precision, operational excellence, and sustainability. His leadership continues to drive the organisation’s mission of delivering consistent quality, innovation, and impact in livestock care.

Mr. Jothiraju M

(Head of Strategy)

With over 35 years of leadership in the dairy and cooperative sector, including his tenure as Managing Director of PONLAIT, Mr. Jothiraju brings exceptional expertise in strategic planning, institutional development, and policy execution.
He has successfully led multi-stakeholder initiatives that bridged government, industry, and farmer networks, driving measurable growth and systemic improvement in the dairy ecosystem.
At Ko Biotics, he spearheads strategic partnerships, national programs, and expansion frameworks, ensuring that the company’s innovations translate into scalable, sustainable impact across India’s livestock landscape.

Mr. Shravan Das  (Head of Commercials)

Mr. Shravan Das brings 20+ years of commercial leadership in brand development and channel marketing, driving Ko Biotics’ growth strategy across India and international markets. His expertise is built on successful tenures with leading multinationals in the animal health and nutrition sector.

He is a results oriented leader known for building high performance teams and forging strong distributor partnerships. Shravan is passionate about leveraging innovative solutions to meet customer needs and solidify Ko Biotics’ position as a market leader.

Ms. S. M. Ramya Prabhavathi along with the marketing and commercial team contributes in creative insight and brand communication strategy, ensuring Ko Biotics’ message resonates with both farmers and professionals.

A highly qualified legal expert with extensive experience in corporate and compliance law. Under her guidance, our company doesn’t just follow the rules, we set the standard for ethical governance.
